The Most Instagrammable Spots in Our New Store Design

A great store does more than display a collection. It creates a setting where fashion, lighting, architecture, and personal style come together in every frame. Our new GUESS store design is shaped around that idea, with carefully considered spaces that make browsing feel dynamic and give every visit its own visual story.

From reflective surfaces and statement fixtures to intimate corners made for close-up details, the environment offers plenty of ways to capture the GUESS point of view. The best photos often come from noticing how the space interacts with what you are wearing, where you are standing, and when the light changes.

Whether you are documenting a new arrival, gathering content during a shopping day, or sharing a memorable store experience, these photo-ready areas provide a polished backdrop without making the moment feel staged. Here is how to find them, frame them, and make the most of the new retail setting.

The Entrance Sets The Mood

The storefront is the natural first stop for a fashion-forward photograph. GUESS branding, clean architectural lines, and the movement between the street and the sales floor create a sense of arrival that works especially well in full-length images. Stand slightly off-center rather than directly in front of the entrance to give the frame more depth and let the design do some of the storytelling.

The entrance also offers a useful transition between outdoor light and the warmer atmosphere inside. This contrast can add dimension to a look, particularly when you are wearing denim, metallic details, or a structured jacket. Try a relaxed walking pose instead of a formal stance, allowing the image to capture the energy of stepping into a new space.

For the strongest composition, keep the background simple and watch for reflections in glass or polished surfaces. A clean frame makes logos and architectural features feel intentional, while a small shift in angle can turn a standard storefront shot into a campaign-inspired moment.

Mirror Moments With A Fashion Focus

Mirrors are among the most versatile features in the new design because they invite a personal point of view. A full-length mirror can showcase the complete silhouette, while a closer reflective surface brings attention to accessories, texture, and styling details. These spaces are ideal for outfit checks that feel immediate and authentic.

Use the mirror to build layers into the image. Let a handbag, boot, belt, or piece of jewelry appear in the foreground, then allow the reflection to reveal the full outfit behind it. This creates visual movement without requiring a complicated pose. A slightly angled phone can also prevent the frame from feeling flat and help emphasize the lines of a blazer or fitted denim.

When styling a statement piece, the store becomes an extension of the look. A bold jacket can stand out against a restrained backdrop, while a monochrome outfit gains interest from the contrast between fabric and reflective surfaces. For extra styling inspiration, explore this statement blazer guide before your next store visit.

Denim Displays Made For Texture

Denim is part of the GUESS visual language, and a well-organized denim wall naturally creates a rich background for photography. Repeated washes, seams, pockets, and folded stacks add texture while maintaining a clean composition. This is the place to photograph the material itself, especially when the collection includes contrasting shades or distinctive finishes.

Try standing close to the display and turning your body slightly so the denim becomes a tonal backdrop rather than a distraction. A crisp white shirt, red accent, or metallic accessory can create a strong color relationship against blue denim. For a more editorial result, focus on one detail, such as a pocket, waistband, or embellished finish, and let the rest of the frame soften around it.

A denim display also works well for short-form video. A slow pan across the textures, followed by a shot of the finished outfit, can tell a complete styling story in just a few seconds. Keep movements smooth and avoid overloading the frame with too many products; one clear idea usually makes the most memorable content.

Feature Walls With A Campaign Feel

A feature wall is designed to draw the eye, making it one of the easiest places to create a bold image. Graphic elements, seasonal messaging, distinctive color, or a curated product arrangement can give your photo the atmosphere of a fashion editorial. Use the wall as a visual anchor and allow enough space around yourself to keep the composition balanced.

The strongest pose is often the simplest. Stand naturally, shift your weight, and let the clothing create the movement. If the wall has a strong pattern, choose a look with clean lines so the outfit and setting complement each other. If the backdrop is minimal, bring in a statement bag, layered jewelry, or a dramatic pair of shoes.

Consider taking both a portrait and a detail image from the same location. The portrait establishes the overall mood, while a close-up of a buckle, logo, fabric finish, or accessory adds variety to a carousel. Together, these images create a more complete record of the store experience.

Fitting Room Details And Personal Style

The fitting room area offers a more intimate setting for capturing the process behind a finished look. Curtains, mirrors, lighting, and repeated doorways can create rhythm in the background, while the try-on moment gives your content a candid quality. These images work especially well for showing how an outfit evolves from the hanger to the final styling.

A fitting room photograph does not need to reveal every detail of the space. Frame the image around the garment, use the mirror to show a second angle, and keep personal items out of the shot. If you are photographing a friend, capture the moment they adjust a sleeve, fasten a belt, or compare two options. Small gestures feel more natural than a fixed pose.

Lighting may vary slightly from one part of the store to another, so take a moment to check the screen before moving on. Avoid blocking overhead fixtures with your phone, and use the brightest available area for accurate color. This is especially helpful when photographing whites, pastels, denim washes, or reflective finishes.

Seating Areas For A Relaxed Lifestyle Frame

Not every image needs to look like a formal fashion portrait. Seating areas add a softer, more lived-in mood to the store and create room for relaxed lifestyle content. A seated pose with a shopping bag, sunglasses, or a folded jacket can communicate the feeling of taking a pause between discoveries.

Use the furniture and surrounding lines to guide the viewer through the frame. Sit at a slight angle, keep one accessory visible, and allow some negative space around the image. This approach gives the photograph an effortless quality while keeping the focus on the complete look.

These areas are also ideal for group photographs during store events, launch moments, and special shopping experiences. Arrange people at different heights rather than placing everyone in a straight line. A mix of seated and standing poses creates a more natural composition and captures the energy of being together.

Capture More With A Clear Content Plan

A little preparation can make a store visit feel creatively focused without taking away from the experience. Choose one main outfit story, identify two or three visual details, and vary your framing as you move through the space. This keeps your images connected while preventing every photograph from looking the same.

For polished results, keep the following ideas in mind:

  • Begin with a wide image that establishes the store and your overall look.
  • Follow with a mirror photograph that shows proportions, layers, and accessories.
  • Capture one close-up of texture, hardware, denim, or a signature detail.
  • Add a candid moment near the fitting room, seating area, or entrance.
  • Finish with a short video that shows movement through the space.

Before posting, review the sequence as a complete story rather than selecting images individually. A strong carousel might open with the entrance, move into styling details, and end with a relaxed portrait. Short-form video can follow the same rhythm, using the store’s lines and lighting as natural transitions.

Share The Store Experience

The most engaging retail content feels personal. Rather than treating the new design as a simple backdrop, show how you move through it: discovering a favorite piece, comparing silhouettes, styling a new accessory, or stepping into a campaign-inspired setting. These small moments help viewers imagine their own visit.

Natural light, clean framing, and a clear focal point will always matter more than complicated editing. Keep colors true to the clothing, avoid covering important design details with text, and give each image enough space to breathe. The goal is to preserve the atmosphere of the store while letting your individual style lead.

When your content is ready, share the look, the location, and the details that made the visit memorable through the GUESS social channels. Tagging the brand and using relevant fashion, denim, and store-experience language can help connect your post with a wider community of GUESS enthusiasts.

Visit the new GUESS store design with your camera roll in mind and discover the angles that feel most like you. Explore the entrance, mirrors, denim displays, feature walls, and relaxed seating areas, then share the finished story with the GUESS community. Your next favorite photo may be waiting between the fitting room and the front door.
