How to enter the GUESS Trunk Show Sweepstakes

A trunk show brings the energy of a fashion event into a more personal setting, with featured styles, seasonal inspiration, and the chance to connect with the GUESS or Marciano experience in a memorable way. When a sweepstakes is attached to that event, the entry process may be simple, but the details still matter.

The most reliable way to participate is to begin with the official sweepstakes announcement and read the complete rules before submitting anything. The announcement should identify the promotion period, eligibility requirements, entry instructions, prize description, and any restrictions that apply.

Because event details and promotional terms can change, use the current GUESS Journal announcement as your starting point. The events calendar is a useful place to look for related trunk shows, retail activations, and official brand experiences.

Find the official sweepstakes announcement

Start by locating the promotion on an official GUESS or Marciano channel. A legitimate announcement should clearly connect the sweepstakes with the brand, name the sponsoring entity, and direct participants to official rules. It may appear alongside a trunk show announcement, a campaign feature, an in-store event notice, or a dedicated sweepstakes page.

Read the announcement carefully rather than relying on a social caption or a repost. Short promotional posts often highlight the prize and event but leave out important information about the closing date, entry limits, geographic restrictions, or the method used to select a winner.

Check that the page is current and that the entry window is still open. If you find the promotion through a search result, a social post, or an email, follow the linked information back to the official GUESS source before providing personal details.

Review the official rules before entering

The official rules are the controlling document for the promotion. They typically explain who may enter, how old an entrant must be, where the sweepstakes is available, when entries are accepted, and whether a purchase is required. Many U.S. sweepstakes also state that no purchase is necessary, but the specific promotion terms should always be checked.

Pay close attention to the start and end times, including the time zone. An entry submitted after the deadline may be rejected even if the event itself is still taking place. Rules may also limit entries to one per person, household, email address, or day. Sending multiple entries when only one is allowed can result in disqualification.

Look for the sections covering prize values, odds, taxes, winner notification, and publicizing the winner’s name. You should also review how the sponsor may use submitted information and whether any release or verification documents are required before a prize can be awarded.

Complete the entry form accurately

Once you understand the terms, use the exact entry method listed in the announcement or rules. This may involve an online form, an event sign-up, a registration page, or another official process. Entering through an unrelated third-party page may not count, even if it uses similar branding or describes the same prize.

Provide accurate information in every required field. A misspelled email address, incorrect phone number, or incomplete name can make it difficult for the sponsor to contact you. If the form asks for an address, use the address associated with your eligibility rather than a temporary location unless the rules permit another option.

Before selecting submit, review your details and confirm that required acknowledgments are completed. Save the confirmation page or email if one is provided. A confirmation generally shows that your entry was received, but it does not guarantee eligibility or winning status.

Know what to expect after submission

Winning entries are usually selected according to the process described in the official rules. That may involve a random drawing from eligible entries or another stated method. The sponsor may contact a potential winner by email, telephone, or mail, so monitor the contact information used on the form during the notification period.

A potential winner may need to respond within a specified number of hours or days. Failure to respond, inability to verify eligibility, or a returned notification can lead to disqualification and selection of an alternate winner. Keep the original sweepstakes announcement and rules available until the promotion has been resolved.

Be cautious about requests that do not match the rules. A legitimate promotion should not require you to pay a fee to claim a prize, send gift cards, reveal a password, or provide sensitive financial information through an unsolicited message. When in doubt, verify the announcement through an official GUESS channel rather than replying to the suspicious contact.

Detail to check Why it matters
Promotion dates Determines whether your entry is submitted within the valid period
Eligibility Confirms age, residency, and other participation requirements
Entry method Ensures you use the approved form or event process
Entry limit Helps prevent duplicate entries or disqualification
Prize description Explains what is awarded and any stated restrictions
Winner notification Tells you how and when a potential winner may be contacted
Official rules Provides the complete terms that govern the sweepstakes

Connect the sweepstakes with the trunk show experience

A trunk show sweepstakes is often part of a broader retail or fashion moment. The event may feature selected collections, styling appointments, new arrivals, special displays, or an opportunity to explore the brand in person. If attendance is connected to entry, confirm the event’s date, venue, registration requirements, and any age or location limits.

Do not assume that attending an event automatically enters you unless the rules say so. Some promotions require a separate online form, while others may use a registration process at the store. The distinction is important because event participation and sweepstakes entry can be two different actions.

Planning an outfit can make the experience feel more intentional. For seasonal styling ideas before you visit, explore ways to refresh your wardrobe. Choose something that reflects your personal style and works comfortably for browsing, trying on pieces, or speaking with event hosts.

Avoid common entry mistakes

Many sweepstakes errors come from rushing. Participants may miss a required checkbox, use an outdated form, overlook an eligibility clause, or submit more than the permitted number of entries. Taking a few extra minutes to read the instructions can protect an otherwise valid submission.

Another common mistake is confusing a giveaway post with the full rules. A social media announcement can be helpful for discovering the opportunity, but it may not include every condition. Always locate the official rules and use those terms to guide your entry.

Privacy and authenticity deserve equal attention. Enter only through a recognizable GUESS or Marciano source, check the web address before submitting information, and avoid links sent by unknown accounts. If a message uses urgency, asks for payment, or promises a prize without a corresponding official promotion, treat it as a warning sign.

A quick entry checklist

  • Locate the current GUESS or Marciano announcement and official rules.
  • Confirm the closing date, eligibility requirements, and entry limit.
  • Use the approved entry form or event registration process.
  • Check every name, email address, and required response before submitting.
  • Save the confirmation and monitor your contact information after entry.

Stay informed through official brand channels

Following official brand communications can make it easier to find future fashion events, sweepstakes, and retail experiences. GUESS Journal may publish campaign news, event announcements, promotional information, and coverage that places a giveaway within a larger brand story.

If you participate in the GUESS List loyalty program, keep your account information current and review communications according to your preferences. A current email address can help you receive relevant updates, while careful attention to privacy settings lets you manage how information is used.

The best approach is simple: use official sources, follow the written rules, and treat every submission as a detail-oriented process. A sweepstakes entry is quick, but accuracy determines whether it can be considered valid.

Enter with confidence

When the promotion is open, begin with the official announcement, read the rules from start to finish, and submit through the designated channel before the deadline. Keep a record of your confirmation and watch for legitimate winner communications during the stated notification period.

The trunk show itself is an opportunity to experience GUESS or Marciano style beyond a standard shopping visit. Whether you attend in person or discover the promotion through GUESS Journal, take the time to follow the verified entry steps and enjoy the fashion event responsibly.
