About #DenimDay
Denim Day is an international awareness campaign that originated as a response to a 1990s Italian Supreme Court ruling on sexual violence. Each year, people are encouraged to wear denim as a visible statement against victim-blaming and in solidarity with survivors. In 2016, Denim Day was observed on April 27 in North America and May 27 across Europe.
